WHAT IS TAKE OUT?


Food take out has always been part of us and constantly evolved, but who knew it would be our savior when the pandemic struck and restrictions were laid out. Restaurants got innovative, got logistics and begun full time food delivery, the new normal.
Take out food is that which is already prepared and ready to eat or reheat. 

TYPES OF TAKE OUT FOODS. 

You will agree with me that time isn't our friend with our busy schedule so we order in.  But i say 'TAKE OUT THE HEALTHY WAY'.


Pizza

Pizza is one of the most ordered 'junk' food in the world. This Italian delight comes in many forms. But when ordering, you can ask for thin crust pizza as that reduces the calories load.




Khebab 

Meat on stick looks so yummy to me all the time. It's a to go option because it's grilled which means less fat and good health. There are many kinds, like the  chicken khebab, meat, pork and the rest. But try to have veggies mixed with on the stick like legumes as it's rich in fiber and fills you up.





Burger

Now, who doesn't love the view of deliciously packed up animal protein in all forms packed in  bread. But here's the catch, choose your protein wisely. Ask for more seafood and also extra veggies on it. Be it meat or chicken, ask for extra lettuce, tomatoes.




Fish Fries And Chips

All that crunchy and crispness loaded in on meal. Filled with a lot of fat as they are fried. Try it with veggies (cauliflower, tomatoes lettuce or even a salad with salsa in place of ketchup) to improve your nutrition. 




Taco

This Mexican dish comes in so many forms, but go in for a soft shell taco or a taco salad with lettuce instead of a fried taco.  Your meat  can be baked, steamed roasted or grilled. 




Most importantly, when you order for rice foods and they come with sauces ask them to dish it on the side and also ask for veggies 

To sum it up, take out is here to stay so do best to eat healthy and sumptuous meals to stay alive.
