A SHORT STORY, THE UNIVERSITY AFFAIR

Image
Episode 1, Season 1 Amanda attracted suitors from students to lecturers and general workers of the University, some of which had interesting personalities. At level 100, she had the highest G.P.A in her department which did not go unnoticed by her colleagues in her departments and other department, "unsolicited attention" she termed it. Amanda was your regular girl from a middle-class family, born into a family of 4, with her as the youngest. She has always been an introvert with few friends and only went out when necessary. Upon completion of secondary school, her parents knew she would have good grades so they bought university forms for her and were not surprised about her admission into the university to study communication studies. Back on campus, as the second semester began, Amanda had gotten the attention of many not for her excellent grades but her beauty and it was no surprise to see men trying their luck with her. NUBUKE ART FOUNDATION, A BEAUTIFUL GALLERIA

Image
Arts has always intrigued my imagination, wondering what inspired works of artists, their artworks, and how they envisioned to how long it took for them to decide on what painting technique to the color and what mood to be in for their vision to come to life on a canvas. Saw a post of an ongoing art exhibition and made plans to visit with a then acquaintance now a friend. Have always been an art lover but not intentional about it up until I began making acquaintances in the arts industry, one thing led to the other and on one sunny Tuesday morning we found ourselves at an art exhibition.  Mainly didn't attend them because of time, location and company so I was really excited when my friend who is an artist himself agreed to join.   NUBUKE ART FOUNDATION  is an easy-to-find place near Mensvic Grand Hotel 7 Lome close, East Legon.  The design of the building is new to me and interesting. As we made our way into the galleria the first art piece brought nosta

LUXURY BEACH RESORT, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Image
Beach resorts are fast becoming a big business venture in Ghana; a common sight at coastal areas with a lot them springing up with catchy names to attract customers to their location for the experience, and luxury beach resort at Bortianor is no exception. I got to know of the place after a friend visited there with her friends for a photoshoot session and I said, “hey, is the place nice? Do you think it will be worth the long journey and annoying traffic?”. Knowing me as I am, she said not exactly but I can give it a go, which I did after church service, on one Sunday afternoon with a friend. Take a seat and enjoy the ride with me to Luxury beach resort, or something like that. TRAVEL TIME . As I always say, your mode of transportation and time of day plays part to the travel time. LEGON BOTANICAL GARDENS, MY FIRST EXPERIENCE

Image
The LEGON BOTANICAL GARDENS is one of the few child-friendly outdoor space in Accra. It can boast of a well laid out open space in the center of Haatso and at a strategic location sandwiched between the oldest university in Ghana,  University of Ghana  and Wisconsin University,  whilst surrounded by a few number of popular restaurants. Also, the facility is by the road side and makes navigation easy for new guests which is a plus I must add.  With all this in mind, you will still find it not over crowded with visitors which is good, and gives it that peaceful and quite place for all sorts of guest. I have been invited more than once but never went until this week. I was excited because I was looking forward to try their version of the canopy walk and the boat ride and biking. Join me in reading as I share with you my experience there on a midweek sunny afternoon with my friend. TRAVEL TIME . As I always say, these are estimated times due to traffic, your mode of transportation and

Because it was the same almost cold food . I was very much disappointed with it.  TASTE OF FOOD I couldn't enjoy my meal to my satisfaction because it was cold and i don't like cold fo
